September 8 and 9th, 2007 Hours: 9am - 5pm Saturday, 10am - 4pm Sunday Burke High School, 12200 Burke Blvd, Omaha, NE (120th and Dodge) Admission: $7 per adult, under 12 free. Get a buck off when you bring a non-perishable food item for donation to local food banks.
This show marks a return to the ever-popular swap meet format. If you have some model railroad stuff to sell, you'll be able to rent part of a table to do so. The table price includes one single day's admission. Vendors: Tables are $10 each, and include two weekend admissions per reservation. We have limited space, so be sure to get your space reserved early. We'll have contests, clinics, door prizes and operating layouts, as well. It's a great family activity! If you'd like to help spread the word, here's a printable copy of our show flyer (PDF, 220kb). It's big, but meant to be printed, rather than viewed online. Places that might consider displaying or distributing it are local hobby shops, Panera Bread, Starbucks Coffee, and Krispy Kreme Donuts. I have not spoken with anyone involved in those businesses, but they DO have community bulletin boards where they post other groups' posters. Other publicity efforts will be starting shortly. Flyers have been taken to the LAMRRC show this weekend.
