LGB History "LGB is German for Lehmann Gross Bahn or 'Lehmann's Big Train.'" (Toy Directory). It's 1:22.5, or slightly smaller than G-scale. Since they don't follow prototype designs, LGB is considered a "toy train". This in no way lessens their value as model trains. The Division assisted the Omaha Children's Museum in installing their elevated LGB layout. It's located in their entryway and runs around the upper walls. Be sure to check it out! We are currently looking for a couple of folks who would be willing to take on the maintenance of this unique railroad. Please contact Al or Terry Nordmeier for more information.
